About the Program
Spiritus will immerse you in the core of the Church's evangelisation mission, offering time for prayer, reflection, learning, conversation, Reconciliation, and celebration. When offered in person, the 'Porta Fidei' retreat will be conducted, focused on the essentials of the Gospel message and call to vocational ministry, with opportunities for prayer and worship.
Part One | Faith Formation and the New Evangelisation
We begin by returning to the heart of the Gospel — the kerygma. You’ll hear from experienced Catholic leaders and teachers, reflect in guided spaces, and start exploring the personal call to missionary discipleship. This day is about grounding ourselves in Christ, individually and communally.
Modules for Part One:
The Vision of the New Evangelisation
Retreat Experience and Spiritual Growth
Contemporary Methods and Expressions
Faith Leadership for the New Evangelisation
Part Two | Creating Centres of the New Evangelisation: Catholic Schools, Parishes and Church Ministries
We shift our focus to practical application. Through testimonies, case studies, and dialogue, we’ll explore how Catholic schools, parishes, and ministries can become centres of evangelisation. This is also where you'll begin to shape or refine your own evangelisation plan and leadership path.
Modules for Part Two:
Catholic Schools as Centres of Evangelisation
The Interrelated Components of Evangelisation in a Catholic School
Contemporary Evangelisation Models (CSYMI and beyond)
Leading Faith Formation in Complex Contexts
Equipping Teachers and Leaders for Evangelisation
Planning for Mission: Practical Strategies for Leadership

Make it meaningful
This journey is more than a course. It’s a space to reawaken your calling, deepen your spiritual life, and gain new perspectives on Catholic leadership today. As you engage with others, know that you're not alone. We're building something together — something grounded in mission, shaped by faith, and moved by hope.
We invite you to participate with openness and curiosity. The conversations you begin here may ripple out far beyond these two days.
With gratitude and blessings
