The Amazing Race
The Amazing Race is a junior secondary curriculum resource that can be used in different ways to complement and enrich the school or diocesan Religious Education curriculum. It can be used as stand-alone lessons or units of work/modules embedded within the Religious Education program at the beginning of the year, as a set of multimedia resources that are integrated within existing units or modules of work or at one or more reflection days or retreat experiences to welcome students to their first and or second years of secondary schooling

The Church as the Body of Christ
The Universal Church and local school-parish connections
Scriptural texts to explain God’s saving plan for all creation
How believers, past and present, continue the mission of Jesus in the world
Students learn to:
Evaluate and draw conclusions about the significance of rituals, prayer and the sacraments
Navigate challenges through exploring foundational Christian principles
Examine and explain the significance of scripture and Church teaching
Evaluate and draw conclusions about the ways in which the Church is present and active in the world
